COUNSELLING IN HERTFORDSHIRE
"When someone really hears you without passing judgement on you, without trying to take responsibility for you, without trying to mould you, it feels damn good."
Carl R. Rogers, pioneer of person-centred therapy
ABOUT ME
I am a fully qualified integrative counsellor based in Hertfordshire and a registered member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy). I offer short and long term in-person, telephone and online counselling for adults over the age of 18.
I work in person-centred way, meaning that I work closely alongside clients to support them in the challenges they are facing. I will listen carefully and thoughtfully to your individual needs and work alongside you to support you to better understand yourself and any difficulties you may be facing.
In addition to my private practise I also volunteer as a bereavement counsellor at Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care in Watford, Herts and support clients in their NHS Talking Therapies for Anxiety and Depression Service (formerly known as IAPT).
Issues I can offer support with include: bereavement and loss; anxiety, depression and trauma; health related issues including cancer; chronic fatigue syndrome and menopause; culture and spirituality, including LGBTQIA+; relationships, family and child related issues; stress and work; neurodiversity; self-esteem.
I work in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire at rooms easily accessible from Elstree & Borehamwood Thameslink station, with free car parking. Appointments are in-person, online or by telephone and are held at weekly intervals. Sessions last for 50 minutes.
Fee: £65 per session. Concessions available.
"Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms - to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one's own way."

GET IN TOUCH
Start your healing journey...
I understand that it can be daunting taking that first step towards seeking support.
If you feel you might be comfortable talking with me please do get in touch. Following a brief telephone chat, I offer a 30 minute telephone call for us to think about what has brought you to counselling at this time in your life, for me to share how I might be able to support you and for us to consider together whether it would be helpful for us to work together. There is no charge for this and you are under no obligation to book a session.
My intention is to respond to all enquiries left by email, text or voicemail promptly within 24 hours.
